LGV Driver Essentials: Driver’s Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachographs To seek to know and apply: - The drivers' hours limits, breaks and rests as set by both EU and GB domestic rules and their annexes - Mixed EU/AETR and GB domestic rules - Digital and analogue tachographs and rules governing them - Manual entry and when to use them - Working time directive and when a driver might fall under it - Enforcing authority and penalties that can be issued for non-compliance Subject Areas: - Legislation (including Drivers Hours, Rules and Regulations and the Working Time Directive) The daily timetable comprises of a 7-hour module, in addition to: • a 15-minute break in the morning • a half-hour lunch break • a 15-minute break in the afternoon
