Accident Procedures, Poor Weather and Technology Description: Upon completion of the course delegates will be able to: - Understand potential causes of accidents and the issues behind driver behaviour. - The delegates will also understand the different new truck technologies and their advantages or disadvantages. - They will also be able to understand the issues and safety aspects of driving in poor weather conditions. - And also become familiar with speed cameras and penalties that are issued for non-compliance Subject Areas: - First Aid - Health, Safety and Emergencies - Professional Driver and Company Issues - Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving - Vehicle Systems (Safety Controls) The daily timetable comprises of a 7-hour module, in addition to: • a 15-minute break in the morning • a half-hour lunch break • a 15-minute break in the afternoon
